Prysmian’s Lawrenceburg Facility Celebrates
50 Years of Operation
Highland Heights, Ky., June 13, 2024 – Today, Prysmian, a leader in the energy transition and digital transformation, proudly announces the celebration of 50 years of operation at its Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, facility. Since the facility’s inception in 1974, the plant has gone through numerous expansions in Telecom Copper, Data Communications and Fiber cables, maintaining Prysmian’s position as a cable leader through innovation while consistently delivering high-quality telecom solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
“Our 50-year milestone marks a journey of growth, resilience and Lawrenceburg’s commitment to excellence,” said Andy Small, Plant Manager of Prysmian’s Lawrenceburg facility. “Since 1974, we’ve become a trusted source for telecommunications cable not just here in Kentucky, but across the U.S. and around the globe.”
The anniversary celebration commemorates the Lawrenceburg plant’s achievements and honors the 250 administrative and manufacturing employees’ dedication and hard work who have been instrumental in its success. The event featured speeches from company executives, special presentations highlighting key milestones and a glimpse into the company’s future endeavors.
